1969 Porsche : 911 911E Coupe

INTERIOR
The interior is all original, the carpets still have their proper coir overmats, the seats are in nice condition but would benefit from restuffing. The dashtop is crack free and perfect, the headliner is original and has some staining.All door pockets are in excellent condition with original doorpanels and period speakers.
MOTOR
The motor starts instantly and shows very good oil pressure, there are no unusual noises, in fact its very quiet. As you can imagine when I got the car it had been sitting for such a long period that the oil return tubes were leaking, the gas tank was crusty, fuel lines had become brittle and the brakes were suspect. When I first got the car I had it completely steam cleaned to check on the underside and assess the motor. I took the car to a Porsche independent shop I use to do all of my work, he had the tank boiled and POR 15\\\'d replaced the fuel lines, brake hoses, oil return tubes, CV joint boots and anything else that needed sorting, I spent $2600:00 on this.My painter painted the underside black and it looks very clean.
The wheels are 15x 6 Fuchs.
The car runs very well, the oil pressure is perfect and the transmission shifts into all 5 gears effortlessly, there are no oil leaks. As you can imagine someone needs to drive this car for a long distance to bring the engine back to its proper feel. If you read the Porsche Red Book it lists this car as a maual, if you look it up in the Original 911 book it lists it as being a Sportomatic.
